How to administer Adequan® Canine to proactively treat canine
osteoarthritis (OA) disease, not just the clinical signs.1
Veterinarians can prescribe Adequan Canine (polysulfated glycosaminoglycan) at the first signs of OA or degenerative joint disease (DJD) to manage clinical signs and help slow the disease process. The results shown in clinical studies were achieved by following the approved dosing regimen.1,2 After the initial series, the veterinarian and pet parents should work together to monitor the dog’s joint health and mobility. The dosing regimen may be repeated as needed upon recurrence of clinical signs.
